today had meeting at conference room.
same old stuff.

except uncle Mic lost patience and left after prayer..
and Ben and KenHeng wasnt there.

Pastor Chris Long was preaching and he told a story:

there was once a little girl who could dance very well.
her mother passed away and her father had to bring her up single-handedly.
he loved to see his little daughter dance.
from her childhood to her teenage years,
she never declined when her father wanted to dance with her.

one day, when she was sixteen,
her boyfriend asked her to go to the city to dance
as he thought that she was wasting her talents here in her small hometown.
the girl argued wif her father for awhile,
and at last, he father reluctantly agreed to let her go.

in the city, she and her boyfriend could not find a job.
so her boyfriend told her to be a strip dancer at a club.
and she earned just enough money to get by.
she was now too ashamed to go home to face her father.

years flew by without any contact between her and her father.
and soon,her father heard about her working in the club.
he came to the club,and saw her stripping in front of many ppl.
she also saw her father and was filled with shame.
she refused to see him when he tried to speak to her.

so he wrote a note to her :

all is forgiven,
all is forgotten.
please come home.

and with the note, just enough money for her to go home.

at home,
instead of a long lecture,
all he said was;
may i have this dance?


the story was so touching.
im not sure if the story is real or not,
but God is just like the father.
no matter what mistakes you make,
He will forgive you.
He is always there for you.
